National Tube Supply, a premium supplier of mechanical tube and chrome bar, is pleased to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Mike Scheuer, Credit & Collections Manager.
By recommendation of his brother, also a National Tube Supply alum, Scheuer joined the warehouse team in 1993. “At the time, NTS was still a relatively new and small company,” said Scheuer, “so I could not have dreamed that taking the job would turn into a 30-year relationship!”
Scheuer held multiple roles in the warehouse over his first 7 years, processing orders, loading trucks, and working up to Lead Man in the receiving department. “I developed a desire to be more involved in the company’s success and felt I had more that I could contribute,” said Scheuer. “In 2001, I became the first warehouse employee to make the move from warehouse to office, accepting a position in inside sales.”
Scheuer also held a dispatcher position in the shipping department before settling in the Accounting department, first as Credit Analyst and then as Credit & Collections Manager.
“One of the keys to the success of National Tube Supply has been the willingness of our shareholder group to place the right people in leadership roles and provide them with the necessary resources for success,” said Scheuer. “I am very proud to be part of the past, present, and future growth of National Tube Supply.
