An end result of our recent expansion project is greater than ever tube-cutting capabilities,
both in diameter and volume. Four new Amada Band saws were recently added to NTS' six
existing saws – three for cutting 16-inch Outside Diameter (OD) tubing and one for cutting
26-inch OD tubing. Our automated saw-cutting services allow us to cut up to 26-inch round OD,
or 30-inches in width. Lathe-cutting capability is being evaluated for 2008 addition.
Eight saws now run 24 hours a day, Monday through Friday, and 24 hours on the permanent,
full-time weekend shift. Both product quality and cutting performance can be measured
and documented using our digital calipers, accurate to .001".
