National Tube Supply (NTS) got its start in August 1990 as a national
distributor of carbon and alloy mechanical tubing. Our founders purchased a 25-acre parcel
in University Park, Ill., with high expectations of future growth. They were right.
NTS recently expanded its 160,000 square-foot facility to an impressive 250,000 square-feet.
Regional metals service centers use NTS as a depot for their inventories. We also serve as
a supplier for companies manufacturing metal parts for a myriad of applications across a broad
range of industries. Primary markets involve construction, agricultural, mining and drilling
equipment, paper machinery and fluid-power applications.
Our strength is three-fold: inventory, service, quality.
Inventory
The building blocks to our success are found in the strength and scope of our inventory.
And that's continually growing. Unlike other service centers with multiple locations that
offer stock levels structured by turns, we boast a massive inventory at one location,
servicing all markets, whether product based or geographic in nature.
Service
Beyond inventory, we offer precision-cutting services on a full range of sizes.
Our state-of-the-art processing equipment ensures order-filling reliability, and we maintain
a network of outside processing vendors for a variety of value-added benefits. To complete
our services, we provide on-time delivery coast-to-coast throughout North America.
Quality
We understand the importance of product quality. That's why we only use producing mills
that maintain documented and certified quality practices and products. Once inspected and
received in our facility, we follow documented procedures to ensure traceability throughout
the inventory and order-filling process, even to your doorstep.
